Agricultural Bank of China Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., （ABC Leasing）as a new member of the Shanghai World Financial Center held a grand opening ceremony on the morning of September 29. Mr. Xiang Junbo, Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China, Mr. Gao Hongbin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr.Huashi Fei, Commander of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Mr. Tu Guangshao, Member of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Huang Weijian, Deputy Director of the Office of Countryside Comprehensive Reform of the State Council, Ms. Di Na, Deputy Director of the SME Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Mr. Yang Kun, Executive Director & Vice President of Agricultural Bank of China & Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. attended the opening ceremony.
In the opening ceremony, ABC Leasing signed agreements with Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Shanghai Urban Construction Investment and Development Corporation, and Lachlan Garden Company Limited respectively.
ABC Leasing is the first wholly-owned subsidiary established domestically by ABC with a registered capital of RMB2 billion and a domicile in Shanghai. Its opening was approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission on August 25, 2010, and its business field covers various businesses such as financial leasing, accepting the lease deposits of the lessee, transferring lease payments receivable to commercial banks and so on.
The establishment of ABC Leasing is an important measure to build an integrated business platform, expand business areas and business fields, innovate financial service means and strengthen the service capacity for economic and social development in urban and rural areas.
It is reported that ABC Leasing will make full use of the important product lines of corporate banking and the Sannong business.
