Agricultural Bank of China, New York Branch (the “Branch”) has developed an Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program to identify and/or prevent attempts by any person or entity to conduct money laundering activities and any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities.
The Branch and its senior management are committed to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations designed to combat money laundering activity, including those rules and regulations requiring the reporting of transactions involving currency, certain monetary instruments and suspicious activity. The Branch shall take all necessary steps and exercise reasonable diligence to prevent the use of the Branch by money launderers and terrorists.
As a New York state-licensed branch, the Branch is subject to New York State Financial Services Department (“NYSFSD”) and Federal Reserve Board (“FRB”) requirements. The Branch is also subject to regulations adopted by the Financial Crimes Enforcement division (“FinCEN”) of the U.S. Treasury Department and by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”), as well as the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA Patriot Act.
