OUR PROGRAMMES
THE APAC GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Our comprehensive two-year APAC Graduate Programme is designed to give final year bachelor’s or master’s degree students and recent graduates the support and development needed to launch a successful career in the banking and finance industry.
You can join us in one of our business areas or support functions and assume real responsibility from day one.
THE TWO STREAMS
ANALYST STREAM
- Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master’s student
- No professional work experience post qualification is required (except internships, apprenticeships, short-term attachments, etc.)
- You should have a GPA of 3.3/4 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline
- You’ll need to be fluent in spoken and written English
ASSOCIATE STREAM
- Apply as a final year student from a full-time MBA or equivalent
- You should have 3–4 years’ pre-MBA experience
- You’ll need to be fluent in spoken and written English
DEVELOPMENT
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
To enhance your knowledge, we will take you along a tailored development path to build your expertise and broaden your skills through the various learning channels (classroom, virtual and on-demand eLearning) offered by our Regional Learning & Development team. As a learning company, the learning opportunities in BNP Paribas are endless.
ON THE JOB TRAINING
You will receive business specific training to help you familiarize yourself with our different products, services and operations that your team manages. You will also have the support and guidance from your line manager and the team to build expertise, thrive in your role and contribute towards the bank’s continued success.
EVALUATIONS & CHECK-INS
To support your growth and progression within the bank, there will be regular touchpoints for you to review and discuss your development needs and career direction
OPPORTUNITIES
ROTATIONS
To provide graduates with maximum exposure during the two-year programme, most graduates (unless you have joined Global Markets) will have the opportunity to complete at least one rotation across or outside of your hiring team.
TRANSVERSAL PROJECTS
To stretch and challenge you, participation in a regional project provides an opportunity for you to work with other APAC Graduates under the guidance of the project sponsor. This project will give you a broader perspective and exposure to what the bank does across the region, and provides you with further opportunities to establish strong internal connections beyond your immediate team.
CAREER PROGRESSION
As a permanent hire, upon completion of the two-year programme, you will be ready to take on the challenges in the next phase of your career with the bank.
EXPOSURE
INDUCTION
To orientate you into our culture and equip you with key skills to succeed in your role, the programme starts with two weeks of training where you will participate in combined group induction programmes where you will learn more about BNP Paribas and pick up both cross-functional, regional and technical skills through engaging learning sessions tailored just for you.
MENTORSHIP
Supported by dedicated colleagues, (both mentors and early career professionals), you will also be enrolled in a formal mentoring journey that is complemented by resources that allow you to make the most out of the mentorship.
NETWORKING
To help you grow your connections within the bank, networking events designed to provide you with the opportunity to meet with, interact with colleagues from other territories, and engage with our senior leaders.
THE APAC SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
If you’re a full-time student in your penultimate year, we can offer you a chance to learn more about BNP Paribas in a ten-week summer internship. The programme usually starts in May or June and continues into July or August, depending on location.
You’ll learn on the job, take part in insight events, attend product and soft skills training, and experience professional networking gatherings. Do well, and you can expect to be considered for conversion to a full-time role when you graduate.
