For 111 years, Citi Panama has been involved in the country’s economic development, starting with the funding of the construction of the Panama Canal in 1904 through the former International Banking Corporation.

Additionally, Citi supports the growth and development of microentrepreneurship and financial education for youngsters through Citi Foundation-funded programs. It also has an active volunteering committee that promotes charitable activities in support of different vulnerable sectors of Panama.
