The Hong Kong Hub Branch, established in 1984, is part of the International Network of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division.

The Hong Kong Hub Branch is the reference point for Intesa Sanpaolo’s network and business in the Asia Pacific, with branches in Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney, and representative offices in Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Mumbai, and Seoul, as well as for the Group’s International network in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

The Hong Kong Hub Branch is a licensed bank authorized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to conduct banking businesses and also a registered institution licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to deal in securities, advise on securities and advise on corporate finance activities.

  • We act as the main “gateway” between Hong Kong, the Asia Pacific region, and Intesa Sanpaolo’s core market, Italy, and as a global partner for our Chinese, Italian and International clients.

  • We offer in-depth knowledge of different industries and corporate strategies and a wide range of services and innovative tailored solutions, delivered along with Product Desks, for corporate banking (e.g. corporate risk solutions), global transaction banking, structured export finance, structured finance (e.g. acquisition, infrastructures, and projects), syndication and trade export finance.
  • Among the products and services offered we also include short and medium-term loan financing, supply chain financing, cash and liquidity management, treasury management, interest rate and foreign exchange risks hedging, and issuance of commercial and financial guarantees.
