That has become the official standard for money transfers [including salaries, international remittances and e-payments] in the UAE. Bank Of Sharjah has already applied the IBAN to all accounts in accordance with the Central Bank Circular 4305/2011
The main purpose of the IBAN is to facilitate automatic processing and improve the speed and accuracy of all inward and outward transactions.
All Bank of Sharjah payment/instructions submission channels have been enhanced to accept IBAN
