Blom Bank France Name Change

In view of the current macro‐economic and financial crisis affecting Lebanon, and adhering to our policy of no exposure to either Lebanese sovereign or financial institutions risks, the Shareholders General Assembly held on 20 October 2020 has decided to change the bank’s name BANQUE BANORIENT FRANCE and adopt one of our original denominations at inception under a modernized designation “Banque Banorient France”.

The name change is a reflection and added emphasis on the separate and independent legal status of the bank, which is regulated by Banque de France and supervised by the ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution) and local authorities in our countries of presence, who approved this change.

The Bank’s new logo was designed following a survey conducted amongst a sample of our various stakeholders, it depicts our longstanding values portrayed by the solidity of the shield, our bridging mission between Europe and the Middle East reflected through the Phoenician vessel, and our European incorporation as highlighted by the stars of the European flag.

We also take this opportunity to assure you that we change our name but we do not change the quality of our services and our bespoke approach which will remain, as always, of the highest standards.

Assuring you of our best banking services at all times,
