In May 2014, the central bank of Kuwait issues the full-brand license to ICBC Kuwait Branch.ICBC Kuwait is the first branch in the mid-east area, which has been authorized to do the wholesale and sales bank business.
At the same time, the ICBC Abu Dhabi Branch (Regulated by the Central Bank of U.A.E.) has been authorized the wholesale banking license by the UAE Central Bank. Now, the Middle East layout of the Abu Dhabi—Dubai—Doha chain has come into being.
