Agricultural Bank of China Limited-Hanoi Branch (the Branch) obtained a banking license from the State Bank of Vietnam in December 2017 and started business in May 2018. It is the second branch of Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) in Southeast Asia. The core customers of the Branch consist of Chinese enterprises in Vietnam, Vietnamese enterprises, multinational corporations, and financial institutions.
The Branch’s business scope includes syndicated loans bilateral loans, trade finance, payment & settlement services, foreign exchange trading, and inter-bank lending. The Branch will rely on the extensive business network and huge customer base of ABC to strengthen its link with domestic and overseas branches together with strictly complying with laws and regulations, compliance, and risk management policies.
