The BNP Paribas Poland Open tournament is the largest tennis event in Poland, organized since 2021. It is the only tournament of the main series of the WTA 250 rank, in which the best tennis players from Poland and abroad will take part. The titular sponsor of the tournament is BNP Paribas Bank, which strategically supports tennis all over the world.
The first edition of BNP Paribas Poland Open took place in July 2021 in Gdynia, which was opened with a special charity meeting by the best Polish tennis players – Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz. The Belgian Maryna Zanevska triumphed in the tournament, for whom it was the first title in her career.
32 players from the world WTA ranking will play in the main bracket in the single.
There will also be 16 doubles pairs in the tournament, and 24 players will play in the qualifying rounds.
During the tennis event, the organizers have planned many attractions and surprises for tennis fans and a children’s zone.
The WTA 250 tournament organized in our country is one of 30 of this rank held in the world during the year.
Poland was included in the honorable group and thus we returned to the world tennis map.
