US
NYSE: The New York Stock Exchange is the largest equities-based exchange in the world. It represents a third of all equities traded in the world, worth almost $28.5 trillion (Source: Forbes). The NYSE has been around since 1792.
NASDAQ: This electronic marketplace for buying and selling securities was created by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in 1971. The Nasdaq Composite, is an index of more than 3,000 stocks worth roughly $11 trillion.
UK
LSE: The London Stock Exchange is one of the world’s top five markets, listing around 3,000 companies worldwide with an estimated value of $2.2 trillion. It has offered access to Europe’s major capital markets since 1801.
Hong Kong
HKEX: The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is one of the top 10 largest stock exchanges in the world. There are more than 2000 companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and those firms represent around $2 trillion in total market capitalisation.
