Following the successful launch of BOK International in Kingdom of Bahrain, Bank of Khartoum Group ambitious regional expansion strategy continues with the establishment of BOK International in the United Arab Emirates in May 2017.
While being the only foreign bank to be granted a full service commercial bank license by the CBUAE in the past decade, at the initial stages, BOK Int›l will focus on providing wholesale banking services primarily including correspondent banking, trade finance, corporate banking under the principle of Shariah.
In parallel, the bank will gear efforts with the aim to take a leading role as a financial intermediary in facilitating trade from the UAE and wider GCC into Sudan.
